the meaning of the tittle night...!

Well my idea of the reason why Wiesel choose the tittle night for his book is because,well he spent most of his days in the dark and well he did not have any freedom. Another reason why he  choose that tittle was because wiesel worked all the time so he did not get to see the time of day.The word Night makes me think of cruel and unusual punishment towards inocent people.The word Night meakes me feel sorry for all the nights that those people sufered in the story Night...
